Dustin Johnson wins LIV Golf's Las Vegas Invitational

The first two LIV Golf titles won by Dustin Johnson were in Boston in 2022 and Tulsa last year.

Dustin Johnson birdied three of the last six openings to guarantee the LIV Golf Las Vegas title by a single shot.

Johnson, 39, combat cold and blustery circumstances to top the competitor list on 12 under for his third LIV title and guarantee $4m (£3.1m) in prize cash.

Talor Gooch and Peter Uihlein completed second on 11-under, with Matthew Wolf a single shot further back.

"It's an incredible success," Johnson said. " I realized being extreme with the conditions was going."

The double cross significant champ added: " A great deal of great players were close to the lead so I realized I must play well if I had any desire to win."

Paul Casey of England, Graeme McDowell of Northern Ireland, and Jason Kokrak of the United States shared fifth place on eight under, one shot ahead of Spain's Jon Rahm, who was playing in his second LIV Golf event.

Johnson and Bryson DeChambeau shared the 36-hole lead, but DeChambeau only shot a 74 in the final round to finish tied for ninth on seven under.

Crush GC - highlighting Gooch, McDowell, Kokrak and chief Creeks Koepka - took the group title on 33-under, seven shots in front of Johnson's 4Aces.
